The Tilt-Lock Base Shoe is engineered for high performance. Tested to comply with the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code, this system delivers reliable strength for everything from residential installations to your most demanding commercial projects.
It comes pre-drilled for top-mount or fascia-mount jobs, with a anodized aluminum construction that offers excellent corrosion resistance for outdoor projects like balcony and terrace railings.
When paired with the dry glaze Tilt-Lock mechanisms, you can fine-tune your glass panels to perfect plumb, with up to 30 mm of forward and backward adjustment for precise alignment—especially on uneven surfaces.
Compatible with 1/2″, 9/16″, and heavy 13/16″ laminated glass, the Tilt-Lock Base Shoe supports a wide range of glass thicknesses. It’s ideal for everything from standard residential railing to high-wind and high-load exterior projects.
